About Ronald Kotinsky
Ronald Kotinsky is a self-taught landscape photographer from Tampa Bay,Florida. Ronalds' passion for photography blossomed while out on the water kayaking in the early morning and late evenings. After witnessing the beauty of nature on the water he made a decision to take his Canon DSLR with him on every trip. A good dry bag and cautious handling allowed him to capture unique perspectives and views that are seldom seen by those on land or sound asleep.
Ronald's work has been featured internationally in the UK Sun and the Australian news after one of his kayak trips left him trapped on the water during a severe lightning storm. Tucked deep into a mangrove island the storm rolled over and pelted him with torrential rains and hundreds of lightning strikes. As the center of the storm moved further out into the bay, he emerged to capture what would prove to be his most dramatic and memorable shots of his life.
Ronald continues to expand his natural landscape portfolio with iconic scenes from the canyons of Arizona and the national parks of Utah. Scenes from Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park capture the raw power and beauty of mother nature's work over millions of years.
